A Dream Come True: Meeting the Authors Who Inspired Me 😍

When I was younger, I was an avid reader. My nose was always stuck in between the pages of a book, and I never went anywhere without one. And as I got older, I started to find specific authors that really spoke to me and inspired me to write my own stories. Fast forward a few years, and I was given the opportunity to meet some of those authors in person. It was truly a dream come true.

For months leading up to the event, I was counting down the days. I had read and re-read each of the author’s books, making sure I was fully prepared to meet them. I even practiced what I was going to say to them in my head. And when the day finally came, I was nervous and excited all at once.
