Hello there, fellow gamers! 👾2024 is shaping up to be a year filled with exciting game releases that will bring joy to all of us. From the highly-anticipated sequels to games we’ve come to love over the years, to brand new titles that will push the boundaries of gaming, the future looks bright for our beloved hobby.

In this blog post, I’ll be delving into the games that I believe are some of the most highly-anticipated, what each game has to offer, and what makes them special. So, sit back, relax, grab your favorite snack 🍿, and let’s dive in!

1. “Elder Scrolls VI”

Fans of the Elder Scrolls series have been anticipating the release of the sixth installment for years now. The game had been confirmed in 2018, but we haven’t heard much from Bethesda since then. It’s safe to say, however, that when “Elder Scrolls VI” does come out, it will be one of the biggest releases of the year.

The Elder Scrolls series has always been known for its immersive open-world gameplay and an extensive lore. The sixth installment promises to take us into a new and never-before-seen region in the vast Elder Scrolls universe, promising an unforgettable experience for fans of the series and newcomers alike.

2. “Halo Infinity”

The Halo series has been a mainstay in the gaming world for over two decades now, and it looks like “Halo Infinity” won’t be breaking that trend anytime soon. The game is being developed by 343 industries and is set to continue the story of Master Chief, the iconic protagonist of the series.

“Halo Infinity” promises to bring back the classic Halo formula, while also introducing new and exciting features. The game’s multiplayer aspect is expected to be a major focus, with 343 industries promising a return to form for the Halo series.

3. “God of War: Ragnarok”

The 2018 “God of War” reboot was a massive success, garnering critical acclaim and becoming one of the best games of the year. The sequel, “God of War: Ragnarok,” is one of the most highly-anticipated games of 2024, promising to continue the story of Kratos and his son, Atreus, as they face off against the Norse gods.

Along with the return of Kratos and Atreus, “God of War: Ragnarok” promises to bring back the brutal combat that the series is known for. The game will also introduce new elements, such as different enemy types, weapons, and abilities.

4. “Gotham Knights”

“Gotham Knights” is a brand-new game set in the Batman universe being developed by WB Games Montreal. The game takes place after the death of Bruce Wayne, with players taking control of characters such as Batgirl, Robin, Red Hood, and Nightwing, as they take on the mantle of the Dark Knight and work to protect Gotham City.

“Gotham Knights” promises to offer a fresh take on the Batman universe, with an emphasis on co-operative gameplay allowing players to team up with friends to take on the game’s challenges. The game’s story is also shaping up to be compelling, with players facing off against the Court of Owls, a secretive organization that has been a thorn in Batman’s side for years.

5. “Starfield”

“Starfield” is an upcoming game by Bethesda Studios, and it’s the first new IP from the studio in over 25 years. The game is set in an entirely new universe, with players taking control of a character as they explore the depths of space. The game’s development has been secretive, with little known about it except for the fact that it takes place in a science-fiction universe.

Despite the secrecy, “Starfield” is one of the most highly-anticipated games of 2024. Bethesda has a history of creating immersive open-world games, and fans are excited to see what the studio can do with a new universe.
