Welcome to my journey into the world of forgotten music! You may have heard about popular artists like Michael Jackson, Madonna, and Elvis Presley, but there are thousands of talented artists who have been buried in the sands of time. In this blog, we’ll explore some of the best, unknown artists and albums that deserve to be shared with the world.

Dusting off Memories 💭

We began our journey by sifting through the history of music and came across some artist’s who are no longer with us. Their music, however, is the lasting legacy they’ve left behind. Have you heard of Nick Drake, Nina Simone, or Gram Parsons? Their contributions to the music industry are undoubtedly some of the most heartfelt and timeless pieces of art that you can come across.

Rarity Worth Digging ✨

As we dug deeper, we found some albums and records that never hit the mainstream but ended up becoming cult classics. One such album would be “The United States of America - Self Titled.” Released in 1968, it brought together avant-garde music with psychedelic rock and electronic sounds, making it a unique addition to the music from the time.

Unheard Gems 🎶

The world is still discovering musicians with extraordinary talents, and we were pleased to stumble upon The Teskey Brothers. They have recently come to the surface with their bluesy-gospel music style, reminiscent of many music legends before us like Otis Redding and Wilson Pickett. Their music has that ‘feel good’ factor, which would be a fantastic addition to any upbeat playlist.

Buried in the Mix 🗄️

Musicians like Captain Beefheart and the Magic Band pushed the envelope when it comes to creating strange and avant-garde music. They may not have been as popular as the Beatles, but there is no denying their musical prowess. Their songs are like a journey in the unknown and have become a musical staple in underground scenes.
