✨ Hello there, loves! Welcome to my blog on meditation practices! ❤️ This one is for all of my fellow stress-heads and anxious souls out there. We all know how overwhelming life can get sometimes, and we all deserve a break from the chaos.

😔 Stress and anxiety can feel like a heavy burden - like we’re carrying an elephant on our backs! Let’s learn how to breathe and release the weight off our shoulders.

Here are 5 simple meditation practices that can help us relieve some of that stress and anxiety.

1. Guided Meditation

🎧 Guided meditation is perfect for beginners or for those who have a hard time focusing alone. It’s a meditation practice where you listen to an instructor guiding you through the meditation.

💡Tip: Choose a guided meditation that suits your needs and preferences. There are guides that focus on self-love, anxiety relief, mindfulness, and more.

2. Body Scan Meditation

🙇‍♀️ Body scan meditation is all about focusing on each part of your body. Start with your toes and work your way up to your head, acknowledging and releasing tension as you go along.

💡Tip: Take your time, and don’t rush the process. Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and visualize each part of your body. And, as always, be patient with yourself.

3. Mantra Meditation

🌟 Mantra meditation involves the repetition of a word or phrase to help you focus on the present moment. Choose a mantra that speaks to you and recite it silently or out loud.

💡Tip: Make it simple and personal. Your mantra can be anything from “I am calm” to “I am enough.” Just make sure that it’s positive and relevant to your current struggles.

4. Walking Meditation

🚶‍♂️ Walking meditation is a form of mindfulness that involves walking slowly and with intention. Pay attention to the movement of your body, your breathing, and the environment around you.

💡Tip: This meditation can be done anywhere. Whether you’re taking a stroll in the park or walking from your desk to the bathroom, be present and mindful in every step you take.

5. Yoga Nidra

💤 Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep, is a form of meditation that promotes deep relaxation for the mind and body. It’s similar to guided meditation, but it focuses on specific points of the body, breath, and visualization.

💡Tip: This is a great meditation practice to use before bedtime or whenever you need to unwind. Try using blankets or pillows to make yourself comfortable and allow yourself to drift into a state of relaxation.
