Before we can start bridging the gap, it’s important that we understand the differences between each generation in the workforce. Each group has its own unique set of experiences and perspectives - which can shape the way they communicate and interact with others. Here’s a breakdown of the four main generations in the workplace:

  • Baby Boomers (1946-1964) - This generation values professionalism and prefers face-to-face communication over emails or texts. They tend to be more reserved and often seek out job security and upward mobility.
