From surfing the waves of Kuta Beach to exploring the stunning rice terraces in Ubud, Bali is truly a unique destination. One of my personal highlights was visiting the Tegalalang Rice Terraces early in the morning when the sun was just beginning to rise. The beauty of these cascading rice terraces was truly breathtaking.

Palawan Island, the Philippines 🇵🇭

If you’re searching for a true island paradise, look no further than Palawan Island in the Philippines. This stunning destination is home to crystal-clear waters, towering limestone cliffs, and some of the world’s most beautiful beaches. I highly recommend visiting El Nido, a small town on the northern tip of the island, where you can go island-hopping, snorkeling, and swimming in lagoons with water so clear, you can see fish swimming beneath you.

Zanzibar, Tanzania 🇹🇿

Zanzibar is a small island off the coast of Tanzania that’s known for its white sandy beaches, turquoise waters, and vibrant culture. From exploring the winding streets of Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, to swimming with dolphins off the coast, there is never a dull moment in Zanzibar. I particularly loved visiting the spice farms and learning about the history and uses of various spices, such as cloves and cinnamon.

Koh Lipe, Thailand 🇹🇭

Koh Lipe is a small island in Thailand that’s a bit off the typical tourist path, but well worth the journey. This tiny island is home to some of the best snorkeling and diving spots in the country, as well as stunning beaches and crystal-clear waters. The island also has a unique blend of Thai, Malay, and sea gypsy cultures, making for an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend taking a longtail boat tour around the island to discover hidden coves and beaches.

La Digue, Seychelles 🇸🇨

La Digue is a small island in the Seychelles that’s often overlooked in favor of its more popular neighbors, Mahe and Praslin. However, this island is a true hidden gem that’s perfect for anyone seeking a quiet and relaxing getaway. La Digue is known for its stunning beaches, such as Anse Source d’Argent, which is often named one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. I particularly enjoyed renting a bike and exploring the island at my own pace, stopping to admire the stunning views along the way.
